Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Fillers are naturally occurring gel-like substances injected in select areas of the face to restore lost volume, smooth lines, and soften creases while enhancing facial symmetry. Treatment with filler is often called the “liquid facelift.” Aging causes gradual loss of collagen and hyaluronic acid with resulting loss of facial structure and volume. Both are restored with fillers. At Eastside Aesthetics by Lena, we offer Restylane, RHA, Belotero & Radiesse as filler options.

The pros of this treatment include:

  • Regenerate volume on sunken cheeks or temples
  • Diminish marionette and smile lines
  • Smooth vertical lip lines
  • Plump the lips for a voluminous appearance
  • Improve facial symmetry
  • Contour the cheeks and chin

The Treatment

You’ll see the results immediately, however, fillers typically take 3-4 weeks to settle.  This means for about a month after your injections it is common to experience uneven or firm areas, shelving, or one side looking bigger than the other.

Best results are seen with regular maintenance & yearly treatments.
