Can Dermal Fillers Be Permanent?

Can Dermal Fillers Be Permanent

Dermal fillers, or “facial fillers,” are one of the most popular cosmetic procedures, especially for older adults. This minimally invasive procedure can be done in 15–20 minutes, depending on how much work needs to be done.

Today, Eastside Aesthetics by Lena will help you discover if fillers can be permanent and if they are a worthy choice. Check out this blog post for more help.

All About Fillers

You can choose from dermal fillers that are temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent. Let’s briefly see each explanation to know more about what these are.

Temporary Dermal Fillers

Temporary Dermal fillers that last for a short time are the most common type. Three kinds of temporary dermal fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, collagen, or calcium hydroxylapatite. Depending on how many injections you get, temporary fillers usually last between six months and a year.

Semi-Permanent Dermal Fillers

Semi-permanent fillers are thicker than temporary fillers, so it takes the body a lot longer to break them down and take them in. Semi-permanent fillers are usually used to treat deeper laugh lines, marionette lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet.

These filters are made of a synthetic compound called poly-L-lactic acid. Semi-permanent dermal fillers usually last between 12 and 18 months, but they may need to be touched up occasionally.

Permanent Dermal Fillers

Permanent dermal fillers are the thickest of all. Permanent dermal fillers can’t be broken down like temporary and semi-permanent fillers can. This means that the body can only break them down slowly.

Most of the time, they are made to be injected into areas of the body with thick skin, like the nasolabial folds, and can last up to five years or more.

Fillers are gel-like substances that come from nature. They are injected into certain parts of the face to replace lost volume, smooth lines, and soften wrinkles while improving facial symmetry.

Filler treatment is sometimes called a “liquid facelift.” Aging causes collagen and hyaluronic acid to break down, making a face lose shape and volume. So, in these scenarios, fillers are used to fixing both.

Having Permanent Fillers

Can Dermal Fillers be permanent? The answer is yes. But what could go wrong? People who use permanent fillers may think of them as a cure-all, but temporary fillers can do the same.

These injections can only do so much, and if you want your face to look younger in the long run, you may need surgery (such as a Facelift when your jawline starts to sag).

Also, the results of permanent fillers can make clients very unhappy. There’s no “wearing off” or “reversing the fillers” if your injector makes a mistake or you disagree with what you want from your facial filler injections.

Though, Permanent Fillers arent are better than Temporary Fillers. Over time, you can change to fit the face, the way the face ages, and personal tastes. Current dermal fillers are made of substances that have been approved and are similar to substances that are already in the body.

For example, a temporary solution that has been approved. Because of this, there aren’t likely to be many big problems over time. If you don’t like how it looks, you can change it or let it fade over time.

The body may also reject permanent fillers or cause it to react badly. Besides, permanent fillers are often made with materials that don’t come from the body.

Why Do Some Prefer Permanent Fillers?

Permanent fillers are being used more often by injectors because patients want something that will last. Part of the reason they offer this is that it sets them apart from temporary fillers.

Temporary fillers have the benefit that you can sometimes fix any problems that might come up because of them. Sometimes the doctor can get permanent fillers for less money, which they think is essential for the patient. A cheaper filler is not a better filler.

So, is it Worthy To Get Permanent Fillers?

Some clients find that permanent fillers are rejected by their bodies. Temporary filler injections may not work well or be entirely accepted by many people. But most healthy people don’t mind getting quick dermal filler injections.

If you are one of the few who will react to a filler, you want to be at a clinic with a good name and experienced medical staff.

Under-eye and Tear Trough Filler

Does your beauty sleep not make you look as refreshed as you’d like? We’ll use filler to fix hollowing under the eyes, which may be hereditary. You’ll get a vibrant, awakened look. You may also need a filler for your cheeks for a natural look.

Jawline Filler

With a jawline filler, you can make your face look more defined. We’ll shape your jawline so that it looks natural. On average, two syringes of the product are used, but you can use up to 5 needles if you want more shaping and volume.
